Biography

Hello everyone. I am a senior at NMSU in the CD program. This is officially the fourth year that I have been an active member of NMSU NSSLHA and my third year being an officer. As a freshman, I ran for WebMaster and held that position my sophomore year. I then ran for Historian as a sophomore to hold that position as a Junior. As a Junior, I ran for president. Being your president I want you all to know that I am super friendly, approachable, patient, and willing to help anyone with anything. My goal is to be a helpful resource that anyone can reach out to for anything. Having experience of being an officer for the past two years has given me the opportunity to grow as a person, leader, and student overall. As president, I am working on bringing in new events and ideas to NSSLHA. I have future plans for this coming year so I want to encourage members of any cohort to join NSSLHA. I am planning to bring in more guest speakers to our meetings, new events, and more fundraising to help expand our attire and other important supplies NSSLHA will need. I am super excited to be your president for the 2018-2019 academic year. Feel free to email me with any questions.

My role as an officer is ultimately to serve its members and I encourage anyone and everyone to reach out to me with ideas for future fundraisers or anything else a member might possibly need!
