• What populations do you serve? The ERG provides diagnostic and therapy services to children and and adults. However, due to federal guidelines, we are not able to see individuals insured by Medicare. We are happy to provide you with a list of companies that will take your Medicare insurance.

  • Do I need a referral for to be evaluated? No. Individuals themselves can inquire for evaluation.

  • Does the ERG provide re-evaluations? Yes, re-evaluations follow the same process as initial evaluations.

  • Do you have a waitlist? At the current moment we have openings for both therapy sessions and evaluations. Please contact us at 575-646-3906 if you have questions or would like to receive services.

  • After I or my child receives an evaluation, what happens next? Your evaluating speech language pathologist will immediately tell you if you qualify for therapy services. From here, the Coordinator of Clinical Education, Ms. Borrego, or the clinic staff will call you to schedule your therapy services.

  • Is the clinic open year round? Yes; however, we do run off the NMSU school schedule. We are open Fall, Spring and Summer, but we do close for a short period of time between semesters.
